So we shot a jello wrestling party for the homegirl Phoenix Askani’s birthday the other day. Since then, some people have asked me “How?” as in “How do you convince pretty girls to wrestle in jello?”

If you’re throwing a party in your backyard and filling up the kiddie pool and you have lots of pretty girl friends, it’s super easy. You just ask em. Lots of people want to jello wrestle at least once just for bragging rights. For as much as it’s joked about on tv, jello wrestling is a fairly rare occurence. I imagine this is because of the mess factor. So there’s definitely a brag factor, especially if you’re the winner.

But if you’re throwing an event at a bar full of strangers and photographers and people making money, you’ve gotta incentivize the thing. Phoenix got her friend Samantha Sue from Mastermind Ink to offer up $100 dollars worth of work.
