Trouble & Bass presents BASS BASH with Drop the Lime (SXSW!)

Trouble & Bass’ annual Bass Bash lived up to its name. After a week of raucous SXSW parties and raves, this was the only time I actually needed to bust out the earplugs. The party went down at Barcelona, a dank, dark, heavily air-conditioned cave of a dive bar that made it easy to forget thatoutsiude, the rest of the city was enjoying a sunny, sweltering, 100+ degree day. The party featured performances from Drop the Lime, Deathface, Acid Jack, Samo Sound Boy, Plastician, B. Rich, the Captain, and Willy Joy, who brought out the homie Show You Suck for a live performance of his drop on the Flosstramus/Major Lazer joint “Original Chon Chon”.
