Sunday Swap Meet

The Sunday Swap Meet was the first in a series of monthly events GlitterGuts is going to be throwing around Chicago that we’re calling The Underground Dollar Store. The goal is to bring together some of the best of everything Chicago has to offer for cheap, for a hybrid party/trunk sale/flea market.
For the kickoff event we had performances by Perfect Kiss and Vertual Vertigo, dj sets by Select Inverse and Japandrew Castillo, food by Hot Temper Hot Sauce, clothes by Lipstick Dinosaur, art by Corrupt Cake, a mini music store by Hot Jams Records, a mini-bookstore by Ann Marie Klacko, a whiskey tasting by Dewar’s, and a photo booth by us.
Judging by the response to the first event, we’re gonna keep doing these and they’re gonna get bigger and better. Much love to The Palzie House for hosting the event, and to Old Style for helping out with the bar.
