After years of trying, including on a handful of trips to New Orleans, we finally got to play a show with swamp boogie/synthpunk/puppetshow duo Quintron and Miss Pussycat!! They were rad, and part of another gigantic Printers Ball featuring a Soul Train dance party-and-Don Cernelius-tribute from Chic-A-Go-Go‘s Ratso and Miss Mia, DJ sets by Numero Group’s Dustin Drase and Rob Sevier, and lots and lots of swag, food, and interactive art. Thanks to the amazing Edie Fake for designing the backdrop!
