Let’s Get Foamy was the first in what will hopefully be a series of multicity foam parties that push the boundaries of bad taste to new levels. Held in the Coulter Lounge’s skeezy Pilsen basement, the dress code was “sewage slut” and the decor was wig hair, crime scene photos, animal bones, cult detritus, mysterious powders, pogs and Party City discount bins. The idea with future is to simulcast one party’s video feed on another party’s projector and vice versa, so we aren’t just pushing each other’s boundaries, but egging on some kids in Oakland, Philly, Berlin, et cetera. God help us all if it actually happens, and I hope GlitterGuts can continue to be a part of it.
