On the Floor with Passion Pit (NOLA!)

Architecturally, The Eiffel Society can only be what it is, a really cool dance club. The place got its name because it’s foundation is built up around a structure that came off of the original Eiffel Tower. On the outside it’s very sleek and imposing and symmetrical, then inside there’s all sorts of little touches of modern design like a big wooden sofa that looks like a carving of a beanbag chair designed by woodland gnomes and a row of misaligned bare lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling in lieu of a disco ball or chandelier. Tonight featured a DJ set from Passion Pit, along with dj sets by Electronic Takeover’s Swiss Chriss and DS@STR, along with a shit ton of cameras for the NOLA edition of Bad Girls Club. I don’t think I shot any of the Bad Girls cuz I didn’t have any P.A.’s rushing at me with consent forms, but who knows? Who has time for bad tv?
