Dance Thru The Decades

When Beauty Bar opened up its Chicago location, we weren’t sure how it would fill the shoes of the beloved, defunct Sonotheque it was replacing. It didn’t have that weird step in the middle of the dance floor that everyone used to trip over, but it was so brightly-colored and glittery. It soon became an irreplaceable hub of dance music in Chicago and pretty much our own home base. To celebrate their fifth anniversary, they thru a special edition of Dance Thru The Decades, a party that brings together djs from all of the bar’s monthly theme parties. Music was provided by Motown Party‘s Johnny Walker, Champagne Retro‘s Marco Morales, Indie-Pendent‘s Greg Corner, and Another 90’s Party‘s Matt Roan!
