Video Party: see GlitterGuts in action at the Chicago Reader’s Anti-Valentine’s Day Party

This past Valentine’s Day, the Chicago Reader invited us to be a part of their annual Anti-Valentine’s Day Party at the Logan Square Auditorium. Drinks were flowing courtesy of Budweiser Black Crown, Valentine’s solicitations were wooshing by discreetly courtesy of wheeled Cupids, the Windy City Rollers, performances were curated by Salonathon, music was provided by Tess Kisner (of the Whistler’s slow jams party Slo’Mo) and The Hood Internet, and burlesque army The Fly Honeys got tastefully nude/classically trashy. I don’t know if you use “ska band” as a unit of measurement like I do, but The Fly Honeys are about 2-and-a-half mid-’90s-era 3rd wave ska bands worth of naked lady, which is a pretty impressive. If you don’t believe me, check out the video, as shot by Nick Brazinsky, below..
