Four years ago, one of our first parties was The End of The World Dance Party, a full moon carnival at the late great collective space Weiser House (which later changed hands and split into the late great spaces Mortville and Treasure Town) featuring old time burlesque, new school clown and circus arts, and a bunch of great DJs. Over the last four years, the goal was to throw 12 End of the World Dance Parties, leading up to a huge gala specatacle on December 21, 2012, the day the Mayan calendar, and possibly this funny experiment called Earth, comes to an end.

In that time we’ve thrown some great parties at houses, bars, nightclubs, and underground spaces, including a residency at the now-defunct Sonotheque, a wonderfully decadent and destructive series of parties at British Knight’s house, and two election parties where inarguably the lesser of two evils won! In that time it has been our great pleasure to work with BBU, Chrissy Murderbot, DJ Gant-Man, Cobra Krames, Phenom (at one of his first Chicago performances), Ghetto Division, Red Hot Annie, Josephine Shaker, Sidney Scarlet, The Hamburglars, Pooper, Phillip Morris, Tewz, Reaganomix, Perfect Kiss, Midnight Conspiracy, Pure Magical Love, Starfoxxx, Perfect Kiss, Shana Von Gabor, Clique Talk, Ipaghost, Qbot, hosts Eric lab Rat, DJ Demchuk, British Knights, Mr Bobby, and more!

Friday, Dec. 21, we’re taking over Lincoln Hall for the party to end all parties, featuring the talents of the Porn and Chicken Dance Party, Ghetto Division, Perfect Kiss, Negative Zeta, Audeo Assassins, and the Hey! Cliche! Video Club!

It’s a 18+ party. Advanced tickets are $8, but stragglers can get theirs at the door while they last for $10!
